Manage the Accounting Department for the accurate and timely dissemination of accounting activities and financial management reports.
Maintain control of balance sheet and account reconciliations.
Prepare reports that summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.
Coordinate and provide required information for audits of company’s accounts.
Manages and forecasts the cash position of the company.
Update/standardize documentation for all accounting functions.
Work with internal customers to develop and implement system improvements.
Develop and communicate financial reports with Operating Managers.
Coordinate a timely month-end and year-end closing process.
Train, coach and manage direct reports, including Staff Accountants, Account Payables and Accounts Receivable.
Manage fixed asset accounting, including capital project reviews, asset capitalization, and the physical inventory of fixed assets.
Establish, improve and maintain systems and controls which verify the integrity of all Accounting systems, processes and data.
Ensure system/process controls are in place to safeguard the assets of the company.
Participate in a wide variety of special projects and compile a variety of special reports.

Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
6-8 years of Accounting experience with minimum of 2 years managerial experience.
Experience working in a multi-division or multi-company environment preferred
Manufacturing experience preferred.
Experience with MRP/ERP required.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and operate with high standards of integrity.
Strong general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and banking working knowledge.

Assist in coordinating and implementing safety policies, maintaining safety metrics, safety training records, written safety program and tracking compliance requirements. A key role for monitoring and facilitating the Company’s health and safety programs and supporting safety initiatives. Instrumental in driving culture of safety within the Organization.
Support adherence to OSHA regulations with documentation and recordkeeping.
Record and analyze safety metrics to present to Management.
Investigate accidents, injuries and hazards and facilitate corrections.
Conducts equipment inspections before release to production, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and that all safeguards are in place.
Organize, participate in and record minutes of production safety meetings.
Provide analysis and support on all safety related issues to management, supervisors, and employees.

Assist Continuous Improvement Manager with facilitation of Safety Kaizens.

Responsible for fire extinguisher inspection compliance, corporate-wide.
Manages annual state and federal permitting requirements and environmental regulations ensuring filings are done appropriately and timely.

This position is responsible for the safe maintenance, installation, repair or replacement of plant equipment and systems, to ensure maximum production quantity and quality, while supporting the policies, goals and objectives of the company.
Leadership role in promoting company’s mission ensuring that Safety is instilled as a value and that all equipment meets the most stringent safety guidelines.
Use of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) software as the means to improve uptime of equipment while reducing maintenance costs.
Participates in objective setting, plan development and performance review of equipment.
Initiates, implements, and manages the two shift plant maintenance program based on best practices in the Textile Manufacturing industry, with an emphasis on planning/scheduling and preventive/predictive maintenance (TPM).
Prepares reports, analyzes data, and makes recommendations for improving plant operations and solving maintenance-related problems.
Supervises plant maintenance personnel.
Hands-on troubleshooting, repair and installation of equipment
Manages projects related to new equipment, rebuilds and/or process improvements.
Ensures that maintenance technicians are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated so that the maintenance program can be accomplished in a safe, timely, and cost -effective manner.
Develops, maintains and updates SOPs, operating and training manuals for the maintenance department.
Ensures that all maintenance technicians are trained on the most updated version of the operating procedures.
Monitors operation of manufacturing equipment and systems.
Reviews the operation of plant equipment and systems constantly, to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate problems in a timely manner, and to identify opportunities for improvement.
Tracks, analyzes and improves key maintenance parameters such as asset utilization, maintenance cost, PM compliance, schedule compliance, etc. utilizing E-Maintenance system.
Associates degree from two-year college in a related technical field or certificate or diploma from trade school in related field and five years’ experience in leading a maintenance operation of a process manufacturing facility or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with repairs and maintenance of processing equipment.
Must have working experience with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).

The Process Engineer will assist Manufacturing Engineering and the Director of Advanced Engineering in the Development, configuration and optimization of industrial processes from inception through to start-up, insuring consistency and high quality in the manufacturing of all products.
Develop a thorough understanding of all manufacturing processes and products.
Assist in specifying equipment and process requirements for the development of new products or product improvement.
Assess processes for efficiency and product quality by developing and analyzing statistical data to determine improvement parameters.
Serve as the primary quality assurance resource for problem identification, resolution, and continuous improvement.
Coordinate resolution of technical and process problems and technical modifications.
Design and implement methods for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection.
Promote and execute quality standards, inspection processes, test methodologies, quality plans documents and reports.
Assist in manufacturing productivity and quality improvements on the production floor.
Participate in closure of process deviations, investigations, and corrective actions to prevent recurrent deviations
Provide process documentation and operating instructions/SOPs.
Assist in Development of Process/Methods/Manufacturing documentation.
Research, conduct and test trials and sample runs, documenting results.

BS Degree in Engineering, Textile Engineering preferred.
5-8 years’ experience with Needle-punch and/or Carding manufacturing.
